On Tuesday 8th October and Wednesday 9th October, Year 7 pupils went on a geography field trip to Pershore.
The purpose of the visit was to find out what shops and services Pershore offers so that pupils can compare this with the places where they live. Remarkably, we all stayed dry during what looked like were going to be two wet mornings.
The students carried out three activities. Firstly, they did a survey of the High Street shops and services followed by a pedestrian count. Finally, the students asked members of the public about why they visited Pershore. They particularly enjoyed this final activity and we received many positive comments about how smart and polite the children were. The information collected will be used as part of their studies on settlements.
