Bredon Hill Academy is a nurturing and inclusive middle school nestled in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. Our pupils join us in Year 6 and leave at the end of Year 8. Our motto, “Learning Together for Success”, is at the heart of all we do as a community.
We wish to appoint a forward-thinking and enthusiastic Head of PSHE. Bredon Hill Academy is organised in a similar way to a secondary school, with pupils benefitting from specialist teachers in specialist classrooms. The successful candidate would be responsible for delivering PSHE lessons to all pupils within the school.
As part of our thriving and highly successful school, you can expect:
- A supportive and welcoming professional environment, within the school and as part of the MAT (Worcestershire Hills Trust).
- To work alongside a fabulous team of talented, experienced and committed staff.
- To work with pupils who are incredibly well behaved, curious and empathetic.
- To play a key role in shaping young people’s lives at a crucial age in their development.
- Excellent professional development and networking opportunities.
Candidates are also welcome to apply for the additional leadership roles of Head of Year and/or Personal Development and Careers Lead as part of their application. Additional TLR payments are available for these roles. Please ensure the covering letter or personal statement explicitly reference these roles should you be interested in applying for them.
Bredon Hill Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to recognise and share this commitment. As such, this post is subject toa DBS Enhanced Disclosure, satisfactory references and pre-employment checks. More details can be found within the application form.
